What is the ISLE Society?
Thompson Island’s ISLE Society is a community of young professionals in their 20s and 30s who stand In Support of Leadership and Education. The ISLE Society aims to further the mission of Thompson Island Outward Bound by engaging the next generation of supporters and philanthropists.
ISLE Society events engage young professionals from around greater Boston who gather on Thompson Island and on the mainland to make new friends, network, and have fun while connecting over a good cause. Members are invited to exclusive events and are granted special access to Thompson Island events.
Annually, the ISLE Society engages several hundred participants, and its membership base has tripled since 2019, despite the challenges of the past two years. Sponsoring the ISLE Society is a great way to support the critical educational work of Thompson Island Outward Bound and engage young professionals at your company!

Sponsoring the ISLE Society gets you access to and recognition at all ISLE Society-driven events for this calendar year. Your support will help us engage more young professionals around the mission of Thompson Island Outward Bound and will give all participants and attendees a chance to network while making a difference for Boston's youth.

> ISLE Society Annual Summer BBQ – the not-to-miss island party of the year!
June 12, 2024 | 6:00 pm on Thompson Island - This epic annual party on Thompson Island brings together a couple hundred young professionals for an evening of networking, lawn games, open beer & wine bar, BBQ, beach bonfire, incredible city & sunset views, a round-trip ferry ride and more. Regular Pricing for Attendees: $75 early bird tickets | $100 on and after June 1 | 2023 ISLE Society Member discounts. Estimated Guest Count: 100-200 attendees (our 2021 & 2022 events sold out!).
> ISLE on the Mainland Networking Event
March 21, 2024 | @ The Point - Our "ISLE on the Mainland" events are hosted at a Boston-based bar/restaurant and bring together young professionals for a low-key evening on the town full of new friends, networking, and gathering around a great cause. The ISLE Society provides appetizers for snacking, and guests enjoy a cash bar. Regular Pricing for Attendees: $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Estimated Guest Count: 40-70 attendees.
> ISLE Society & Friends Volunteer Day on Thompson Island
October 19, 2024 | @ Thompson Island - Everything we do on Thompson Island is about exploring the natural world, building community, and creating opportunities. This volunteer day brings our ISLE Society community together for an impactful day of service, as they help preserve our pristine wilderness and keep Thompson Island prepared to educate and inspire our students. The day begins with a scenic boat ride through the Boston Harbor, followed-by organized service projects, and a picnic lunch & beer overlooking the city. Estimated Guest Count: 20-30 attendees
> ISLE Society Members Appreciation Event and Friend-raiser
Date & Location TBD - Started in 2021, our now Annual Appreciation event celebrates the ISLE Society's year and kicks off the holiday season. Your guests will be welcome to enjoy a night of mingling and networking among our young philanthropists while learning about our work and meeting some great friends. Regular Pricing for Attendees: This event is free to attend with a cash bar. Estimated Guest Count: 30-60 attendees. Members and Host Committee Members from 2023 are invited, and asked to bring a friend. Sponsors can send guests in alignment within their ticket allowance.
