Boston Marathon
We are thrilled to announce that Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound is a proud partner of the 2025 Bank of America Boston Marathon Official Charity Program! Applications to join our team are now closed. If you submitted an application, you will be notified of your status no later than November 15th. Please contact Emma Levy at [email protected] with any questions.
All Accepted Runners Will Receive:
- An official bib for the 129th Boston Marathon®.
- A customizable fundraising page.
- A Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound fundraising guide with communication tools, social media templates, and more!
- Organized and supported group training runs, and a day of community building and learning on Cathleen Stone Island this spring.
- Fundraising support and guidance through regular team emails, social media groups, and monthly team calls.
- Swag and gifts from Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound.
Application and Race Requirements:
- The 129th Boston Marathon® will be held on Monday April 21st, 2025.
- All accepted runners for the Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound Marathon team must pledge to raise at least $10,000 to earn their 129th Boston Marathon® entry and must meet the fundraising minimum by April 21st, 2025.
- Accepted runners must pay a $200 team fee (which will be credited to fundraising).
- Upon registering for the 129th Boston Marathon, all accepted runners must pay an additional fee of $375 to the Boston Athletic Association (amount set by B.A.A.).
- All runners will adhere to the rules and regulations put forth by the B.A.A.
Falmouth Road Race

Application and Race Requirements:
- The 2024 Falmouth Road Race will be held on Sunday August 18th.
- All accepted runners for the Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound team must pledge to raise at least $1250 to earn their entry and must meet the fundraising minimum by Friday August 16th, 2024.
- All runners will adhere to the rules and regulations put forth by the Falmouth Road Race.
